For the second month in a row, sports topped our list of the fastest-growing during the month of July, made in cooperation with Similarweb. U. S. The policy has also generated significant gains.

Politically, visitors to actblue. com, which raises money for US Democratic Party candidates, increased 193. 3% in the month in which Kamala Harris replaced Joe Biden as the party’s presidential candidate. The number of Democratic-leaning news sites also increased, with rawstory. com up 119. 9% and msnbc. com up 85. 9%.
Meanwhile, the number of fivethirtyeight. com exclusives increased to 97. 6%: the site’s collection and research of the effects of ballots is addictive for political news junkies.
Only two of the 10 fastest-growing ones don’t have support for the sports and politics model: ideal. nl, a network of bills, and hoyolab. com, a network of virtual gaming websites.

This report is based on a study of the 2,000 most crawled websites through Similarinternet, ranked according to monthly growth in mobile and desktop internet traffic. The effects have filtered into spaces that do not constitute a true business expansion.
The sports craze fueled the biggest expansion on the internet in June, with tons of football (or soccer)-related traffic, but with Cricket World Cup website icc-cricketArraycom at the most sensible place on the list .
Traffic to icc-cricket. com increased by 284. 4% from May to June and by 504. 7% until last June. The 2024 T20 Cricket World Cup ended in June with a win for India.
In addition to sports, all of the classified sites were also committed to news and entertainment: three offered video streaming and one was dedicated to gaming.
Produced through Similarweb in partnership with Tech Radar Pro, this rating is based on the monthly increase (MoM) in the number of unique visitors to the world’s 2000 most sensible internet sites. For context, we have also shared the year-variation and totals throughout the year. The list has been filtered to exclude spam sites and sites, as well as sites that we couldn’t when we tried to determine them.
Although those sites had a particularly strong traffic month in June, they all also demonstrated a more sustainable year-over-year gain. Traffic to the German sports site Kicktipp (kicktipp. de) increased by 1,301. 2% year-on-year.

The rise in popularity of the United States National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s website, noaa. gov, with an 80 percent increase, is also likely due to data on the upcoming United States hurricane season and other severe weather events.
Not all sites were news-related, however: No. 2 kindred. co, Kindred for Business’s online page that sells the company’s loyalty programs, with unique visitors rose 116. 5% to reach 74. 3 million. The apuestastake. us site rose to 72. 6% and walmart. com. mx to 68. 7%.
Election Season Surge
Lalluram. com has enjoyed renewed interest around the upcoming election, which peaked in mid-May and faded after its effects were announced.
Last month, cryptocurrencies saw a surge in visitors due to Bitcoin’s newfound popularity in the news. This month, we saw a dramatic increase in user interest in Web3, the blockchain-based 3. 0 edition of the Internet, which is decentralized and emphasizes token-based economies.
The fastest-growing website worldwide in April 2024 was walletconnect.com, an open-source protocol that allows users to connect their crypto wallet to decentralized applications (dApps). The site saw an 1815.1% increase in unique visitors month-over-month (MoM), growing to 11.3 million individuals, according to Similarweb estimates. Year-over-year (YoY) there was a whopping 4571.1% increase.
Traffic to walletconnect. com increased 2,931. 7% from March to April with 99. 0 million monthly visits, 99% of which came from mobile Internet. A similar domain, walletconnect. org, has seen an increase in traffic of over 2000% per month, however we have left it off the list because most or all of that traffic is forwarded to walletconnect. com.
The timing of the ranking was chocozap. jp, with a 321. 7% increase in monthly exclusive visitors. While our research only looks at English-language websites, Chocozap’s impressive growth was 5 times greater than that of other top-10 websites. The Japan-based company, which offers a low-cost microgym for beginners and others with tight schedules. who need to exercise comfortably in their leisure time, recorded a traffic increase of 1,093. 7% in April, with 57. 4 million visits to the Internet worldwide (desktop and mobile).

Data from SEMrush and Similarweb indicates that consumers are actively looking to stay informed, which is driving the expansion of those websites.
SEMrush data from October reveals a wide diversity of fast-developing websites. In particular, e-commerce giants such as Amazon. it and Amazon. in are recording growth rates of 30. 1% and 15. 2%, respectively, reflecting the growing demand for online shopping. The telecommunications sector is also on the rise: Airtel. in is growing at a rate of 22. 3%, driven by the increased demand for virtual connectivity. In addition, the news industry shines thanks to Internet sites such as Hurriyet. com. tr and TheSun. co. uk, indicating an increased demand for credible news sources. This virtual migration across industries underscores the shift in customer behavior, emphasizing convenience, connectivity, and access to trusted content as key drivers of today’s virtual landscape.
The strong expansion of those Internet sites reflects the conversion of the personal tastes of online users, who now prioritize effective e-commerce, secure communication, and quick access to news and information.
Similarweb’s insight reveals another set of thriving websites, with recrutement. co. jp leading the way with a staggering 5,220. 3% increase in monthly traffic. The remarkable expansion of this Japanese task portal can be attributed to the dynamism of the task market and the developing trends in online task search.
Other internet sites like genuinoestate. com. au, sharechat. com, ozcut price. com. au and many more are experiencing a really extensive expansion according to Similarweb. These internet sites cater to real estate, social media, and discounted price searches, respectively. Their expansion is strongly related to the growing demand for them in the virtual age.
