Re “On Auschwitz’s anniversary, ‘Great Dorroow’ for the increase in nationalism” (cover, January 28) and “Musk Insives end to blame for the Nazi past of Germany” (press article, January 28):

While we mark 80 years from the release of the Nazi extermination field Auschwitz-Birkenau and the indescribable horrors perpetrated in opposition to the Jews there, it is disconcerting that this significant and solemn anniversary is spoiled through a tsunami of anti-Semitism, either in Germany And around. The world.

When Holocaust survivors, who endured barbarity and torture, feel compelled to rise up 8 decades later to sound the alarm of bigotry and the developing Jewish hatred, it is a brutal reminder of the demanding situations we still face on a global scale. Efforts to normalize and legitimize the spread of anti-Semitism are repugnant and take a stand in a civilized society.

No one deserves to display the red carpet for extremism, xenophobia and hate. And attempts to minimize or overcome the crimes of Nazis opposite to humanity are an aggression for all of us. We cannot and we will not have to clean the reminiscence of the atrocities that occurred in the holocaust, and we will not have to turn a blind eye to the tide of the wave of anti -Semitism that is sweeping the world.

To the editor:

Elon Musk’s front with Germany’s far-right party of choice, Für Deutschland (AfD) is an insult to Holocaust patients and a risk to democracy. By dismissing Germany’s duty for its Nazi history as “past fault,” Mr. Musk trivializes the critical classes of history and encourages extremist forces.

The calculation of Germany with its Nazi history is for its democratic identity and a safeguard opposed to the resurgence of hatred. The 80th anniversary of Auschwitz’s release, deepens the affront.

By supporting one of which the co -founder rejected the Nazi era as “a bird mud grain”, Mr. Musk confers harmful ideologies.
