Before USA Basketball began its quest for gold at the Paris Olympics, players joined more than 500 Team USA athletes in the opening ceremony in a boat parade down the Seine River.
LeBron James was revered by the U. S. team. as the first men’s basketball player to carry the flag to the ceremony.
