Russia burning as Ukraine launches ferocious drone attacks

Ukraine on Sunday introduced a ferocious wave of drone attacks across Russia, oil refineries and Crimea.

In weeks, Zelensky’s forces have carried out repeated aerial bombardments targeting strategic business sites in Russia, causing widespread devastation and damage.

The aim appears to be to disrupt supplies of weapons and fuel to Putin’s army in Ukraine.

There was a first fire in Ryazan’s oil refinery after he attacked for the second time in two days.

The refinery is one of the largest in Russia, with a capacity to process 17 million metric tonnes of oil per year.

Emergency services had just managed to extinguish a previous fire after drones hit the warehouse on Friday.

Images posted on social media and verified through the Astra Telegram channel show a huge ball of flames emerging over the refinery.

The Ukrainian military later demonstrated that it had the oil depot in an official press release.

“Units of the unmanned systems forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine attacked the facilities of the Ryazan oil refining company, which refers to supporting the Russian Occupation Army,” they said.

Ukraine attempted some other bold attack in Crimea over the weekend, waterborne drones.

The Russian Defense Ministry claimed that its military managed to intercept the drones before they could achieve their goals.

This comes as Putin’s air dropped a 250-kilogram bomb on one of his own villages in the Belgorod region.

The telegram channel Astra calculated that, in general, Russian fighter jets dropped at least mega-bombs on their own villages and cities.
