Montrose Playhouse to open in 2021 when paintings resume in cinema after Covid-19 delay

Work at Montrose Playhouse will resume on Monday, with the film opening around September 2021, revealed.

The construction of the cinema, which will be housed in the former construction of the mall pool in the city of Angus, was halted due to a coronavirus.

However, a spokesman said today that the paintings would begin next week, with a view to making everything operational “in thirteen months.”

The spokesman said: “After several months in limbo due to Covid-19, despite everything, we can let you know that as of Monday, August 3, our main contractor, Bancon Construction, will officially start painting at Montrose Playhouse.”

“It is true, in about thirteen months, Montrose will have its own film and art center again. We are very excited and look forward to seeing you there next year.”

“Keep an eye out for our social media pages for updates and visits.”

“Thank you to those who supported us on this journey.”

In addition to the 3 cinema screens and cafeteria bar, there are plans for network spaces and commercial spaces, all of which will be used through Montrose Playhouse in partnership with local individuals, companies and network teams and to provide social systems aimed at social networks welfare and arts education.

The programs target other people’s express teams in the community, such as those suffering from social isolation due to intellectual health, dementia, and other life-enhancing problems.
