How to view the Zwift de France 2020 virtual tour: schedules, transmissions, itineraries and calendar

The real Tour de France will begin on the Fourth of July, but was postponed until the end of August.

The tour de France organizer, ASO, has partnered with the Zwift virtual platform to fill the gap with a series of virtual races.

Professional cyclists will drive genuine motorcycles coupled with complex turbo shoes that, as it should be, measure their power. But the environments in which they will evolve are generated by PC.

Six stages are spread across three weekends, from Saturday July 4 to Sunday July 19.

You can watch those occasions online and more classic TV channels. And those who already use Zwift can see the routes themselves and see how pitiful their legs are compared to Chris Froome’s.

Read on for full details.

The way to see occasions is to do it online. Zwift has already released videos of the area reserved for all occasions in the series, until the final course of the Champs-Elysées on July 19. You’ll find those videos below.

However, the races will also be broadcast on more classic networks, which will broadcast the races of the real global in August and September.

Here is the full list of the channels involved, through Zwift.

The Virtual Tour of France is a significant step for women’s cycling.

Men’s and women’s teams will take the same route, and women’s events take place roughly an hour ahead of the men’s.

Lately there is no female edition of the classic Tour de France and 23 cyclists tried to highlight this gender disparity last year by running the stages a day before men.

There are 16 women’s groups and 23 groups of men. The well-known cyclists are Chris Froome, Egan Bernal, Geraint Thomas, Marianne Vos and Anna van der Breggen.

They compete for charity, which for the classic Tour de France scholarship.

It is part of the Tour de France United charity campaign, which supports five charities: Emmaus, French People’s Aid, Jeugdfonds Sport – Cultuur, BiJeWa and Qhubeka.

Stage 1

The first level takes a position in the fictional world of Watopia’s Zwift, with some visual changes to give it a great feel in France. Most of the course is flat, but there is a mountainous section. Four laps of the course in general, a total distance of 36.4 km.

Step 2

This is where we get the first big virtual climb of the Tour de France, adding one last directly with a steep 14-degree slope. The scene is re-established in Zwift’s existing Watopia domain, and as it is a longer stretch, runners have to do several laps of the course. That’s 29.5 km in total.

Step 3

The third step is where things become attractive to Zwift fans. This is the first environment created in particular for this event, a flat stretch of 48 km in a domain of northeastern France.

Step 4

This is a direction changed from the same environment as the third stage, but with a larger climbing section. Although the map is the same as in the previous stage, Zwift says that the additional portions are founded in southwestern France, rather than the north. Two laps up to 45.8 km.

Step 5

The fifth level is the only one, with sections of the remarkable ascents of Mount Ventoux. It is a 22.9 km address ending in Chalet-Reynard on the south side of the mountain.

Step 6

The last level is a reproduction of the center of Paris, six flat turns totaling 42.8 km. It is the finish of a sprinter, the last directly from the authentic Tour de France. The global virtual created through Zwift also includes sites such as the Trimphe Arc.

How those routes yourself

The virtual Tour de France is reserved for groups of professional drivers, but you can also check the routes yourself.

Zwift’s schedule of occasions is dotted with public occasions that begin every two hours.

These are not limited to the weekend, but continue the following week. You don’t have to travel at the same time or day as professionals.

To see them, you want a subscription to Zwift, a motorcycle, and a turbo master that can be connected to the platform. A 7-day Zwift trial is available.
