HAIKOU — A commercial spacecraft launch site on China’s southern island province of Hainan on Saturday started constructing its second phase that will include two launch pads designed for liquid propellant rockets.
The second phase will cover a total area of over 133 hectares on the coast of suburban Wenchang city, according to the Hainan International Commercial Aerospace Launch Co., Ltd. (HICAL), the launch site’s operator.
In addition to the two launch ramps and their formulas, such as a propellant source formula and a fuel source formula, the moment -moment phase will also come with a aerospace control and control center of ads, a rocket meeting and a building of Checks, and adheres to -up, telemetry and control station.
According to Hical, the phase for the time being will be the site’s comprehensive launch capabilities, fulfilling the developing call for advertising launches in China, and spicing up Hainan’s efforts to build a cutting-edge advertising cluster for the advertising sector.
