Like every year since 2018, Emmanuel Macron will spend Christmas at Fort Brégançon, in Bormes-les-Mimosas. According to our information, the Head of State arrived in Var this Monday night to spend New Year’s Eve with his family at the presidential residence.

The stay in Var of Emmanuel Macron and his wife will last until December 31, when the president will present, from the Elysée, his wishes for 2025.

L’occasion de clore une année marquée par la dissolution de l’Assemblée nationale et par l’éclosion d’une période d’instabilité politique. Le Président a ainsi posé ses valises dans le Var seulement quelques heures après la nomination des membres du gouvernement Bayrou.

The president’s end-of-year stay deserves to be discreet, although in recent years, around this time, Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron have been seen on some outings to Saint-Tropez, Ramatuelle or Port-Grimaud.

The Head of State’s last stop in Var dates back to last summer. Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron have also made it a habit to stay for three weeks during each summer season (and also during the Ascension weekends) in Fort Brégançon.

Reviving a culture abandoned by its two leaders and in any context (yellow vests, Covid-19, Paris Olympic Games, etc. ), Emmanuel Macron has one of the most unbreakable presidents in the presidential apartment in the Var, alongside Georges Pompidou and Jacques Chirac.
