US President-elect Donald Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron appeared to arm wrestle as they greeted each other in Paris on Saturday evening.
The two leaders shook hands while attending the rite of reopening of Notre-Dame in the French capital.
Video footage showed the two men gripping each other’s hands firmly and shaking numerous times.
Reacting to the footage on X, Piers Morgan said: “I’ve missed the Trump-Macron arm-wrestles.”
Body language expert Judi James said of the exchange: “The brotherly relationship between Trump and Macron turns out to be verified with a very macho greeting ritual that we see between superheroes in videos or between comrades on the battlefield, with the iron grip of the right. hands alluding to bravery, courage and complicity.

Big names from around the world are in attendance for the historic event.
The emblematic monument has been recovering for five years after suffering serious damage due to a large fire.
The cathedral cost a staggering £800 million to rebuild.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is present, as is the Prince of Wales.
Prince William was seen having a one-on-one conversation with President-elect Trump.
Before his meeting with Macron, Trump said: “It is a great honor for the French people to welcome him five years later. ”
Mr Macron thanked Trump for his “solidarity” and “immediate action” during his first term.

And he added: “You were president then, for the first time, and I appreciate the solidarity and your prompt action. Welcome back. Thank you. We are very pleased to have you here. “
The president-elect of the United States then said: “Thank you very much. It is a great honor. And we’ve had a relationship. As everyone knows, we have completed a lot of things together. “
“And the French are spectacular. I guess they are one of our biggest teams in the United States, the French, and we respect them and we love them. Very talented people, incredibly full of life, as you know very well. ” Yes, and it’s an honor to be here. “
Trump also said, “The world is going a little crazy right now. “
